National Fish Hatchery
The National Fish Hatchery is home to numerous endangered fish species. The area surrounding the hatchery also offer visitors different activities such as hiking, bird-watching and picnicking.
Fort Inge County Park
The site of an old U.S. Cavalry post built in 1849, Fort Inge County Park offers picnic facilities, hiking trails and campsites. This park is located along the Leona River at the base of an extinct volcano.
Uvalde Memorial Park & Recreational Complex
Located on the banks of the Leona River, this park features a golf course, tennis courts and picnic tables. A covered pavilion and hiking trails are also offered by the park.
